- -> Good looks/design (Aesthetics) - -> Isn't too costly to produce (Cost)
What are the three elements of the design mix?
- Function –> Is it fit for purpose? / Does the product work?
- Costs (Economic Manufacture) –> Is it too costly? / Does design allow product to be made and
sold profitably - Aesthetics –> Does it have good looks/design? / Does product appeal to customers?
What is Ethical Sourcing?
The process of ensuring that the products made are obtained through responsible and sustainable methods.
What examples are their of ethical sourcing?

What causes changes in branding and promotion to reflect social trends?

What is Emotional Branding?
To engage a customer, the branding of a product is matched to the lifestyle, values or aspirations of consumers to trigger an emotional response, so that they buy the product.
