Relative deprivation= vulnerable communities leading to victimisation
Military policing= people less willing to help/lack of community cooperation

Self fulfilling prophecy- become label
Prevent police oppressing those labelled as criminal
Police use illegitimate mean of arresting- model tries to prevent this (police procedures)
