What are methods of direct transmission
A
direct: kissing, body fluids, skin to skin, faeces
inoculation: break in skin during sex (HIV), animal bites, puncture/needles
ingestion: contaminated foods, hands to mouth, diarrhoeal faeces

What are methods of indirect transmission
A
fomites: inanimate objects (bedding, socks, cosmetics)
droplet infection: breathing in droplets (flu, TB)
vectors: mosquitos transmit maleria, dogs/bats etc transmit rabies, water transmits diarrhoeal faeces
