Where does the SA node blood supply come from?
59% of population from right coronary artery(RCA). 38% from left coronary artery (LCA). 3% from both.
How many internodal pathways are there? Names?
3; anterior, middle and posterior
What is Bachmann’s Bundle? Where is it found?
A specialized tract that transmits impulses through the inter-atrial septum.
Where does the AV node blood supply come from?
The AV node is always supplied by the right coronary artery(RCA)
Where is the bundle of his found?
At the AV node to the beginning of the Bundle Branches. Partially in right atrium and intervention septum
Where does the LBB terminate?
LPF and LAF then purkinje network
Where does the RBB terminate?
At the purkinje fibres.
Which fascicles is easily blocked?
LAF is easier because the LPF’s fanlike structure is more difficult to block.
