What is the function of a public cloud?
Used by multiple organisations and are typically hosted by a particular cloud vendor
What is the function of a private cloud?
Used by a specific organisation, can be hosted at the organisation or third party
What is the function of a Hybrid cloud?
where an organisation utilizes certain services on
the public cloud, but has a private cloud for
sensitive services/data
what is the function of a community cloud?
designed for organisations working in a
particular industry
What types of organisations will use a private cloud?
Large businesses because they normally have more sensitive information that needs to only be accessed by the company
E.g. NHS , Military
what type of organisations will use a public cloud?
A organisation with no sensitive data.
E.g. individual organisation
What type of organsiations will use a hybrid cloud?
Keep their sensitive information away from the pubic/ other businesses
E.g, Intelligent Services
