For nearly 200 years, the Roman world enjoyed peace and prosperity. Lasted until about 180 A.D. Rome reached its height of power and this was known as Roman Peace.

Formerly called Octavian. He was determined to protect the empire. To do this, he created a professional army. It has about 150,000 soldiers.

Trajan
made Roman laws easier for ordinary citizens to understand and make the empire’s boundaries easier to defend.
