What is an input device and an output device?
An input device is one which can be used to enter data and information into a computer. While an output device is one which can send information from the computer back to the user.
Examples of input devices:
Keyboard: used to enter text into a computer
Webcam: a camera used by a computer to take photos and record videos
Magnetic stripe reader: used to read data from magnetic stripes on card like credit cards and debit cards
Examples of output devices:
Speakers: used to output sound from a computer
Printers: used to output information from a computer onto paper
Projector: used to project video content from computer onto a screen
