RAM and ROM
RAM- Stores data and programs currently being used. Volatile
ROM- Cannot be modified. Non-volatile. Stores the bootstrap/BIOS
Virtual storage
-Storing information remotely so it can be accessed by any computer with access to the same system.
-e.g. cloud stoage
-Can be accessed anywhere, anytime provided there is internet access
-Costs money, security
