Q

How is editing midi data different from editing audio? How are midi notes affected when deleting a selection or trimming a clip compared to how audio waveforms are affected?

A

If the note’s start point is in the deleted section the note will be deleted. If the note’s end point is in the deleted section it will not be deleted. The same applies when moving or trimming a clip.
