forms due to oxygenation of ethanol. masks fresh fruit aromas, smells stale

MLF- contributes buttery aroma
What are the general classifications of residual sugar?
dry, med-dry, med or med-sweet, sweet
what does glycerol contribute?
smoothness to texture of wine, has slightly sweet taste
