What is the definiton of a verb?
A verb is a word or phrase that describes an action, condition, or an experience.

What are copula verbs?
Copula verbs are verbs that describe the subject of a sentence.
Examples of copula verbs:
- John is a baker. (The subject ‘John’ is linked to the noun ‘baker’)
- He seems nice. (The subject ‘he’ is linked to the adjective ‘nice’)
- The stew smells good. (The subject ‘the stew’ is linked to the adjective
‘good’).
