List the natural attributes of God and define each
- God is omnipotent- quality of being all-powerful
- God Is omnipresent – everywhere present
- Omniscient – having infinite, universal, complete knowledge And insight
What are two important aspects of God’s holiness?
- He is separated from and elevated above all that is transient, impermanent, finite, imperfect, as well as all that is evil, sinful, and wrong.
- He is also separated to and dedicated to the carrying out of His great plan of redemption and setting up the new heavens and the new earth.
List and define two kinds of heresies regarding the Trinity
- Sabellianism – there was but one God with one personality, but that He manifested himself in three different modes
- Arianism - emphasizing so much the distinction among the persons in the Godhead that he in effect divided the Godhead into three distinct essences

The Lord Jesus Christ
- “Lord” was always an ascription of great reverence when it applied to rulers.
- This name Jesus is a reminder of the great purpose God has in the Incarnation—to bring salvation and deliverance from the bondage of sin.
- “Christ” (Gk. Christos) is the appellation that ties Jesus of Nazareth to the Old Testament prophecies about the Coming One.

Explain the difference between Trichotomists and dichotomists
Trichotomists are people that emphasize the material body, an immaterial soul, and an immaterial spirit.
-Those who emphasize the dual aspect of material and immaterial, without giving special consideration to the distinction between soul and spirit, are called dichotomists.
What does it mean to be made in the image and likeness of God?
“Image” is used of statues and working models. It implies a reflection in the human being of something of the nature of God.
“Likeness” is used of patterns, forms, or shapes that are something like what they portray.
The image of god in is consists of both a natural and a moral image. What is included by each of these?
Natural image is those elements in personality that are found in all of us, even God
Moral image includes the well and sphere of freedom in which we can exercise our powers of self determination
