- people goes on **non designated **nature trails and may cause soil compaction which leads to soil erosion, where soil washed away by rainwater.
- trample on plants
2) worsen pollution and disturbing wildlife
- littering on nature paths
- animals mistake litter for food
- humans feed animals w/o permission –> animals lose natural ability to hunt for food
