The aircraft must be grounded (apart from a test flight)

Check Flights - Condicted for maintenance checks for continuing airworthiess
Can an aircraft be flown for a check flight when the CofA or ARC is not valid?
Yes, with a permit to fly
What responsibility does a pilot have after a test/check flight?
They must complete the Check flight report detailing any defects marking them with ‘R’ for Rectification and ‘FT” for Further Test Required
When will aircraft fly under ‘A’ conditions?
Non-EASA aircraft to qualify for the renewal of CofA, proceed to and from a place of repair, proceed to and from a place of storage
When will aircraft fly under ‘B’ conditions?
Non-EASA aircraft being tested for certification and displaying to customers
