104.1 Discuss how fleet transportation requirements and reports are submitted in the PACFLT AOR.
The major transportation reports reflect backlog at major navy ports. These are the Passenger/Mail/Cargo (P/M/C or PAX/Mail/ Cargo) reports. These reports show how much of each of the three categories is resident in the port. A comparison of day-to-day reports will show if there is a back-up at a port.
Transportation requests that can not be met by the numbered fleets (C3F and C7F) are submitted to the PACFLT Transportation Officer from the fleets or the logistics task forces, type commanders or directly from the unit. The Transportation Officer works with the Deployment Management Team/JOPES Officer. These requests arrive via phone, chat, message and/or email.
