a. Singapore
There is an AMC terminal at the Royal Singapore Air Force Base Paya Lebar (IATA: QPG). It’s about ten miles from Singapore Changi airport. Channel flights generally fly to/from Yokota and Kadena Japan and Diego Garcia. The filed has a 12,000-foot runway. Because this is a host nation air filed there may be constraints on what/when can be flown in or transit the terminal. FLC Det Singapore can help arrange transportation from the terminal to the sea port at Sembawang.
b. Diego Garcia
Diego Garcia is located in central Indian Ocean just south of the equator. There is a full-service AMC terminal on a US operated airfield (IATA: NKW). It has a 12,000-foot runway. It has regular flights from Norfolk via Bahrain and Singapore.
c. Bahrain
Bahrain is full service AMC terminal operated by the US Navy and co-located on the Bahrain International Airport (IATA: BAH). Bahrainis the major Navy air hub for US Central Command operations. It has a 12,000-foot runway. It has weekly flights from Norfolk.
d. Guam
The air terminal in Guam is located at Andersen Air Force Base (IATA: UAM). It has parallel 10,000-foot and 11,00-foot runways. It is about 25 miles from the Navy base at Apra Harbor.
e. Fukuoka Fukuoka Airport (IATA: FUK) is a civilian/military air filed located in southern Japan.
f. Atsugi
Naval Air Facility Atsugi (IATA: NJA) is located near Yamato. Its runway is 8,000 feet.
g. Iwakuni
Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni (IATA: IWK) is located in southern Japan and the home of Carrier Air Wing 5. It has a 8000-foot runway.
h. Yokota
Yokota Air Base (IATA: OKO) is a US Air Force and Japanese Air Self-Defense Force base in western Tokyo. It has an 11,00-foot runway. This is the major AMC hub in East Asia.
