When may a PIM be used?
Duty for a period of 3 months or less in a place of regular report. TEMADD of any length as alternative to concurrent report. Performance not under written orders that should be brought to the reporting senior’s attention
What is the purpose of administrative blocks?
The administrative blocks identify the report, define the context in which it was received and make it more informative to detailers and selections boards
What are the 5 performance marks?
EP=4.0, MP=3.8, P=3.6, Progressing=3.4, Significant Problems=2.0
Adverse or downgraded reports may not be submitted as what?

When can members submit statements to the record regarding their reports?
At time of report and up to 2 years thereafter
When should a standard letter format be utilized?
Official correspondence with DOD addressees and those outside DOD if they have adopted this format (such as Coast Guard and contractors)
What are endorsements used for?
Primarily transmitting correspondence through COC, may also be used to redirect a letter
What does a Via: addressee have the power to do?
Add or alter remaining VIA addressees
When are memorandums used?
Informal correspondence within activity or between DON activities.

Dependency application/record of emergency data
