No quartering of troops in your home

No unlawful search and seizure, no one can search your belongings without a search warrant, must have probable cause, right to privacy
5th amendment
Not to speak against yourself in court, can’t be tried twice for the same crime, due process of law (legal steps that must be taken before your punished
6th amendment
Speedy trial (government can’t put someone in jail and delay the trial on purpose to keep one in jail), jury of your peers (ppl who decide of you’re guilty or not must be form were the crine took place. Need evidence only shown during trial, can’t make decisions based on their liking), right to a lawyer
10th amendment
Power is shared between Federal (delegated powers) and State (reserved powers) government. Created to limit federal government’s powers
