Define the term Sensorium
A
- Level of consciousness (comatose, stuprous, drowsy, alert, hyper-alert)
- Orientation to time, place, person situation

Describe the four terms of psychomotor activity
A
- Hyperactivity: purposeful, goal-directed activity
- Agitation: purposeless activity
- Retardation: slowing down, as in depression
- Catatonia: excitement, stupor, ‘waxy flexibility’

- Mood: is sustained, pervasive subjective emotional state
- Affect: is a more momentary observable expression of emotion.

- Thought blocking: stopping in mid-thought or being unable to think
