what are the components of sexual selection? (3)

- Anisogamy refers to the quality and volume of gametes you produce. This plays an important role in explaining sexual behaviour (Darwin’s socio-biological explanation.)
- Inter-sexual selection describes the relationship of females in their pickings/preferences of male partners. i.e. Fishers sexy sons
- Intra-sexual selection refers to the evolved competition between men to ‘win over’ female partners i.e. sneak copulation
