With a score under 80% on the Basic exam:
-Use of all Amateur bands above 30 MHz using any mode acceptable in that band;
-Maximum transmitter power of 250 watts DC input
-May construct, install, and operate transmitters from kits that have been professionally designed and commercially packaged.

With a score of more than 80%:
-Same as above, but use all Amateur bands.

What additional privileges does an Amateur with an Advanced Qualification have?

-Install and operate repeaters and other advanced automated stations;
-Run higher power;
-Design and build transmitters; and
-Generally has more technical privileges.
