A
A person’s sense of who they are and how others perceive them

What does Baumeister say about family socialisation ?
A
Family socialisation provides children with an identity. Imitative play e.g. playing house will help children learn their identity in social roles.

A
rehearsing roles before we take them on through reading about them, imagining them, learning about them e.g. a med student watching grey’s anatomy to imagen the role of a doctor
