- God creates the world and living creatures- he alone is God the Creator- he creates humans in His likeness - in His image

- Rule as His royal representative - Be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth

- Adam is to work the garden and keep it- tree of life and tree of knowledge in the center- god commands Adam not to eat from the tree of knowledge : if so death- eve is created as Adams kin

- the serpent lies - be like God- humans listen to the creature over the Creator- they decide the tree is good and take the fruit- God judges but there is grace

- Adams son Cain murders Able- hope for humanity through Seth line to Noah- sin increases as humans multiply

- sends a flood to wipe out human beings, but Noah finds grace and is saved with his family
