I thank God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus,
that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge,
even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God is faithful, by whom you were called into fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

The grace of God is given to me by Christ Jesus.
I am enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and in all knowledge.
I eagerly wait for the revelation of my Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm me to the end.
I am blameless even in the day of my Lord Jesus Christ.
I am called into fellowship of the Lord, Jesus, for God is faithful.
but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

I am called.
Christ is the power of God for me.
Christ is also the wisdom of God for me.
For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty…
and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.

The Lord has called me, the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise.
God has chosen me, the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty.
The Lord has chosen me, the base things of the world, the despised, the things that are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,
that no flesh can glory in His presence.
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God–and righteousness and sanctification and redemption

I am in Christ, who became for me wisdom from God.
I am in Christ Jesus, who became for me righteousness.
I am in Christ Jesus, who became for me sanctification.
I am in Christ Jesus, who became for me redemption.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

I have received the Spirit who is from God, not the spirit of the world.
That I may know the things that have been freely given to me by God.
For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

I have the mind of Christ.
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.
So neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.

I am God’s fellow worker, I am God’s field, I am God’s building.
It is the Lord who gives the increase.
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

I am the temple of God. I am holy. For the spirit of God dwells in me.
You are already full! You are already rich! You have reigned as kings without us–and indeed I could wish you did reign, that we also might reign with you!
For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men.
…We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored!

I am already full, I am already rich.
I have reigned as a king.
I am wise in Christ.
I am strong in Christ.
In Christ, I am distinguished.
…But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

In Christ, I am washed.
In Christ, I am sanctified.
In Christ, I am justified.
In the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
….Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.
Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not!
Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

My body is for the Lord, not for sexual immorality.
God will raise my up by His power in the same way Jesus was raised up.
My body is the member of Christ. Therefore, I’ll flee sexual immorality.
My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in me, that is from God, I am not my own.
I was bought at a price, therefore I’ll glorify God in my body and in my spirit, which are God’s
yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.

My Lord Jesus, through whom I live.
For Him, Father Father, of whom all things, I am for Him.
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it
And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things.
Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it to subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

I run in such a way of knowing there’s one prize that everyone competes for but only one may obtain it, yet also temperate in all things, through Christ.
I run for an imperishable crown, through Christ.
I run with certainty, through Christ.
I fight with the discipline of my body, under my subjection, through Christ.
