- How shall you check for leakage when the gas turned on?
A
Use noncorrosive leak detection fluid or other approved leak detection method, around the diaphragm flanges, bottom plate, vent opening, seal cap, pipe connections, and all other joints. Wipe clean with a damp rag.

- Gas supply line to big capacity boilers?
A
- Main gas supply pipe.
- Pressure switch by Brooklyn Union Gas CO with 1/2” piping to SPOT installed vertically.
- Lubricated shut off cock with locking device.
- Cross Tee with 1/8” pet cock, nipple and cap, and with dirt pocket.
- Nipple with pressure gauge.
- Maxitrol main gas pressure regulator with vent to atmosphere.
- Nipple with low pressure switch HW C 437E - manual reset.
- Safety shut off valve with proof of close.
- Nipple with line to solenoid vent valve, vent to atmosphere, and with 1/8 pet cock, nipple and cap.
- 2nd shut off valve with proof of close.
- Nipple with:
A. Shut off cock.
B. High pressure switch HW C437Q - manual reset.
C. 1/8 pet cock, nipple and cap. - Shut off cock with locking device.
- Firing Rate Control Valve HW VSE.
- Line to burner gas manifold inlet main pressure 25”.

A
Inlet pressure exceeding 2 psi (LP) or 5 psi (natural).

A
- Pipe line from firm low pressure gas meter.
- Shut off cock.
- T with dirt pocket .
- Union.
- Low pilot gas pressure switch C645A.
- Pilot pressure regulator 11101.
- Test gauge connection for adjusting regulator 1’-1 1/2” water column.
