* Restricted areas ideally seperated from unrestricted areas by a locker
room
* Leaving a restricted area and planning to return– clothing covered
with a closed knee-length lab coat that is discarded on return
* Food and drink not permitted in either area - Unrestricted area
- Central control point monitoring

- Requirements:
- Scrub suit
- Patients clipped and vacuumed
- Initial surgical preparation
- Soiled linen and trash kept in an unrestricted area
