What is congenital strabismus?
a misalignment or deviation of the visual axis that may be concomitant, intermittent, or latent.
From an abducted position, which extra-ocular muscle elevates the eye?
superior rectus muscle.
From an abducted position, which extra-ocular muscle depresses the eye?
inferior rectus muscle.
From an adducted position, which extra-ocular muscle elevates the eye?

What test is done to detect a CN IV palsy?
Bielschowsky head tilt test. The eye elevates with the head tilt to that side with the CNIV palsy (as a way to compensate for the loss of the superior oblique the patient may naturally have a head tilt to the opposite side)
