HOW do you use THERAPEUTIC OXYGEN?

A
  • Remove dust cap if applicable
  • Attach cannula to outlet
  • Select flow rate
  • Turn supply on counter clockwise
  • Fit cannula to pax
  • When no longer required remove cannula
  • Switch to off position
  • Replace dust cap and re-stow
  • Close oxygen supply clockwise

This one has 2 outlets therefor 2 pax can use it at the same time. 1 pax on low flow and 1 pax on high flow.

High flow valve has a red band around it. Low flow will have a yellow or green band. If no bands present res dot next to low flow. When facing the gauge low flow will always be on the left and high flow on the right. (Left is low)

OPERATION - Remove from bracket, raise red safety catch, hold upright (no more than 45 degree angle), aim at the base of the fire, squeeze the trigger, use in sweeping motion
