Why is it important to perform an N-95 mask fit check?
A properly fitted mask seals to your face and reduces the potential for
contamination entry as well as eyewear fogging when wearing the mask.

Can you receive burns while wearing Wildland coveralls?
Yes, coveralls do not offer any heat protection and that you can still get burned
as the coveralls only offer flash burn protection.

What are the four (4) components that make up an SCBA

What is the pressure in a full SCBA bottle and at what pressure do you change?
Full @ 4500 PSI
Change @ 3600 PSI
At what pressure difference between the chest mount gauge and the bottle indicator
should you report this?
300-400 psi
Identify which of the two components is the cause of the issue, tag it as out
of service, inform your officer, and have the service/salvage pick it up for
repair at the Air Room.
At what pressure does the Vibralert alarm activate?
1500 Psi
If the regulator ceases to function what should you do?
Turn on the bypass on the regulator, activate your PASS and immediately
exit the contaminated atmosphere. Report to an officer immediately.
How do you clean and facepiece?
general clean - soap and water then spray of PerCept, let sit briefly, rinse
Disinfect - Spray on percept, let sit for 5 minutes
How is the PASS activated (just module)?
a. It is automatically activated when the bottle is opened.
b. Manually when the red alarm button is depressed and system reset
How long after not moving will the PASS go into full alarm and how can it be reset?
Pre-alarm at 20s, ramp up for 10s, full alarm at 30s
by pressing reset button (yellow) twice
