- Beerenauslese - 5.5% ABV minimum, will always be a sweet style, may have some botrytis
- Eiswein - 5.5% ABV minimum, grapes must be healthy to preserve aromatics
- Trockenbeerenauslese - 5.5% ABV minimum, will always be a sweet style, grapes are botrytis affected
German terms indicating sweetness (not Pradikat)
trocken → dry (<4g/L, or up to 9g/L if sugar !> acidity by 2g/L)
halb-trocken → off-dry, between 4 and 12 g/L RS, up to 18g/L if RS!> acidity by 10g/L (can be “Feinherb” ie, fine dry)
