٤٢) شيعه در برابر كودكى امام جواد چگونه به اطمينان رسيد؟
During hajj season, all the big scholars from the famous cities in the islamic world gathered in the house of imam as sadiq, to visit imam al jawwad & get rid of any doubt with regards to him being the imam at such a young age. After the imam entered he started answering their questions before they could even mention their questions. Ishaaq bin esmail wanted the imam to pray for his pregnant wife; before he could even ask, the imam told him that he would be blessed with a boy, and that he should name him ahmad.

- براى انداختن امام را زير نظر خودش مثل آنكه با پدر آن حضرت انجام داد
- براى اينكه نوه اش جزء فرزندان على عليه السلام محسوب شود، تا او فخر ببرد
٤٤) مناظره امام جواد با يحيى ابن اكثم را بنويسيد
Yahya bin aksam was the jurist of all jurists of his time. Mamoon ordered him to challenge imam al jawwad, to an ilmi discussion. Yahya asked the imam “with regards to a person that is in the state of ehram & has hunted a wild animal, what do you say?”
The imam replied, “is this animal killed within the haram or outside?, did this person know the ruling or not? Intentionally killed, or unintentionally? A free man, or slave? Was he small or big? Was it the first time he did this or umpteenth time? Was it a bird or not? Small animal or big? Is he remorseful or not? At night or during the day? Was in the umra ehram or hajj?”
Yahya was astonished by these counter questions; and was speechless as he couldn’t answer them.
