What is a verbatim transcript?
Word-for-word record of spoken language, capturing every word, sound, and utterance exactly as it was said.
What does Ad-hoc setting mean?
A setting for an interview that is temporary and fluent and subject to change.
What is a non Ad-hoc setting?
A setting for an interview that is stable and permanent.
What are the different ways to analyze qualitative data?
Grounded theory, discourse analysis, phenomenology, thematic analysis, Narrative analysis and IPA
What is IPA, (Interoperative Phenomenological Analysis)
Qualitative research method used to explore how individuals make sense of their personal experiences.
What is a focused discussion?
An interview that is focused around a theme, involves multiple participants that are interviewed Simultaneously. The interviewer is the moderator and the participants can discuss with each other.
What is a saturation point?
The point at which more subjects and data won’t give you “richer or more detailed data”. The point at which the gains of more research is low or non-existent.
