Whem two or more characters share a line of iambic verse between them

What is an antagonist?
a person who actively opposes or is hostile to someone or something; an adversary.
Tybalt is the antagonist
What is an extended metaphor
An extended metaphor is a version of metaphor that extends over the course of multiple lines, paragraphs, or stanzas of prose or poetry.
What is a soliloquy?
an act of speaking one’s thoughts aloud when by oneself or regardless of any hearers, especially by a character in a play
Romeo has a soliloquy and only main people often have a soliloquy.
What is an aside?
a remark or passage in a play that is intended to be heard by the audience but unheard by the other characters in the play.
It is when you are speaking to someone close to you but the other people in the set can’t hear it and the audience can.
What is hubris?
excessive pride or self-confidence
For instance tybalt is a character whith excessive pride and self confidence so he has hubris
What is hamartia?
a fatal flaw leading to the downfall of a tragic hero or heroine
Romeo’s hamartia is being the son of the enemy family to Juilet
What is catharsis?
the process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions.
Romeo had Catharsis when in the search for Juilet

the expression of one’s meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect.
What is a monologue?
a long speech by one actor in a play or film, or as part of a theatrical or broadcast programme
Prince Escalus gave a monolgue to Capulets and Montague.

When you love someone but they don’t love you back
