Q

What are Neuropilins?

A

Co-receptors for several ligands (VEGF, PDGF etc)
The human genome encodes 2 neuropilins NRP1 and NRP2.
Zebrafish have 4; NRP1a, NRP1b and NRP2a, NRP2b

Q

What is optical projection tomography?

A

An optical version of CT scanning that can be used for fluorescent imaging. It does however require optically clear organisms such as zebrafish embryos or translucent mutant strains.
