gold - more than 87.48 grams
silver - more than 612.36 grams
cash - if reached threshold depending on value of gold at time

when to give zakah
A
when one’s wealth is greater or equal to nisab and had it for more than one islamic year. only after person has reached puberty and is sane. if wealth decreases and increases to value of nisab, must be calculated on full amount owned at the end of the year
