What is Archaeology?
Archaeology is the study of artefacts and physical remains. They help fill in the âgapsâ written records have left.
What do HISTORIANS do?
They study and examine resources from the past, such as physical remains, and interpret the evidence they find to construct explanations about how people lived and how specific events happened.
What do ARCHAEOLOGISTS do?
They study artefacts and basically what archaeology is about.
What are Archaeology and History to each other?

What is a source?
A source is what we rely on when we support our theories. We use them when we try to understand more about a historical event.
Whatâs a primary source?
A primary source is a first-hand source, it came from the person themself.
Whatâs a secondary source?
A secondary source is a second-hand source, they normally depend on primary sources as basis.
Which is more reliable? Why?
Primary sources are more reliable. This is because it is first-hand, meaning there is no passing of information through any other sources.
What is a History Teacherâs job?
Their job is to teach pupils about obviously history and communication to teach effectively.
Whatâs a Museum Educator Officerâs job?
Their job is to ensure the visitors understand and learn about the past through the displays, writing descriptions, and planning events.
Whatâs a Curatorâs job?
Their job is to manage museum events and exhibits, select items to be displayed, and manage fundraising in other/with other museums.
Whatâs an Archivistâs job?
Their job is to preserve historical documents, including birth, marriage, and death certificates. They assist historians access these resources.
What does a Paleontologistâs job focus on?
The ancient and extinct animal plant species from back then.
What does an Anthropologist focus on?
They focus on human cultures, societies, and behaviors before.
What does an Etymologist focus on?
They explore the origins of specific eras back then and how they developed.
