A

The bible tells Christians that they should forgive. It tells us that they’re not perfect and the right to judge isn’t theirs, but Gods. Christians believe that gods forgiveness can only come when you say you’re sorry. Also Jesus taught that god is always ready to forgive, but Christians must accept that forgiveness and forgive others in return.

In 1859 Darwin published a book in which he argued that all life on the planet originated from simple cells. Life evolved over millions of years into a huge variety of forms. According to this theory we evolved from apes- not Adam and Eve.

South African floods - working with the Red Cross following the devastating floods. Provide people with emergency aid and teaching people skills such as building, construction for the long term development of the area.

India- CA are helping the locals build houses which are more fire resistant because the houses of wood were burning easily. CA gave them a deposit for the loan with a low interest and the locals paid back the loan to the government.

Christian aid are educating the local people through their sex education programme as in South Africa there is a growing number of people with the aids virus. In India the poor adults are being taught skills such jewellery making in order that their children can attend school and get a good job. The aim is Long term development.

There are a few philosophical arguments for the existence of god. These may or may not affect their beliefs. Also something’s such as feeling the presence of god, convection/ receiving something after a prayer or religious experiences like a miracle.

What do Christians mean when they say believe in life before death?

A

It means that you shouldn’t always think about being at peace in heaven in your after life, but before also. Everyone should have the right to ‘live’ before death not just ‘exist’. These two are different. Living means to have an education, be able to have your daily necessities and have freedom over certain things. However some people can’t afford all these things and are just existing on earth facing several problems. This slogan wants everyone to be treated the same, ie, everyone should be living and enjoying their lives.
