In the parable of the unforgiving servant what does Jesus teach his disciples?
Jesus teaches his disciples that forgiveness should be in like proportion to the amount forgiven or do it unconditionally. Also when someone sins against us, we should be willing to forgive from a heart of gratitude for the grave to which ourselves are debtors.
Why would so Christians believe that you should forgive?
The bible tells Christians that they should forgive. It tells us that they’re not perfect and the right to judge isn’t theirs, but Gods. Christians believe that gods forgiveness can only come when you say you’re sorry. Also Jesus taught that god is always ready to forgive, but Christians must accept that forgiveness and forgive others in return.
What did Darwin teach about evolution?
In 1859 Darwin published a book in which he argued that all life on the planet originated from simple cells. Life evolved over millions of years into a huge variety of forms. According to this theory we evolved from apes- not Adam and Eve.

To help people to help themselves. The reason they have this approach is because it gives the local people skills, a sense of pride and the opportunity to sustain themselves after the people have left.

South African floods - working with the Red Cross following the devastating floods. Provide people with emergency aid and teaching people skills such as building, construction for the long term development of the area.
India- CA are helping the locals build houses which are more fire resistant because the houses of wood were burning easily. CA gave them a deposit for the loan with a low interest and the locals paid back the loan to the government.
What are they doing also in India and South Africa to build their skills and education and break out the poor ness cycles? Is this long or short term development?
Christian aid are educating the local people through their sex education programme as in South Africa there is a growing number of people with the aids virus. In India the poor adults are being taught skills such jewellery making in order that their children can attend school and get a good job. The aim is Long term development.
Define deterrence
A negative motivational influence, putting someone off something eg. The idea that potential punishment will put people off from committing a crime.

Revenge for those who have been wronged making them pay for what they have done.

To help the offender become a better person
