Why does Merlin bring baby Arthur to Sir Ector and his lady? What does he tell them.

he puts a sword in the stone and whoever pulls it out is the true heir of the king
What errand does Sir Ector send Arthur to do? How does Arthur complete it?
To get a sword for Kay. He pulls the sword from the stone
Why is Arthur able to pull the sword from the rock?
because he is the true king
Why does Arthur ride away? Why does he return?
because he thinks he is in trouble for pulling the sword out. Because a true knight does not run from his troubles
What does Merlin tell him to do?
Put the sword bavck in the rock and see if he can pull it out again.
How Arthur prove his destiny?
He put the sword back in the rock and easily pulls it out which proves he is the true heir to the kingdom
