-Born and raised in Idaho and surrounded with Aviation from an early age
-Dad retired after 36 years between Northwest and Delta
-Mom NWA flight Attendant
-Brother is a pilot
-We were that Delta family - Learned to love aviation from that flight my brother and I took
-In High School Was two sport athlete and captain of the baseball team jr and sr year
-Straight out of high school we went to part 141 flight school in Bozeman Montana at summit aviation. During this time earned a associates degree from gallatin college. I was the only one to graduate on time
-Moved to Boise Idaho and continued my education while flight instruction
-Graduated Cum laude from Boise state with a bachelors applied science with a leadership cert
-Hired on with Skywest
-Learned about the delta model, customer service, passenger operations, was able to fly with my brother and parents on board a delta connection flight
-Hired with Atlas
-Currently the youngest 747 pilot in the company and possible the world
-work with an extremely diverse pilot population
-CPDLC, Oceanic operations, Theaters, wide body international, augmented crews ect.
-Brother just got hired
-Dad inspired me with his loyalty and I want nothing more to display that loyalty and commitment to the same company my father retired at and my brother currently works for.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
Becoming the youngest 747 pilot at Atlas and possibly the world
How do you motivate people?
-I like to take what I have learned from being a flight instructor over the past few years and try to relate with people on a personal level. find common interests that we both are excited about and show them that their goals are attainable and share ways that I was able to accomplish some of mine
What is your leadership style?
-Lead by example and be a team player,
-that we are in this together and we can help each other find success in accomplishing the task

During Atlas training, my grandfather passed away and during that time I depended on and leaned on my family, girlfriend
Realising that going at it alone would be much more difficult than asking for help
Situation: You are the Captain and almost ready to push. You are informed that there are 20 first class meals missing. 20 minutes to get them. Do you take the delay?
Yes, but elaborate. Let the company know. Let gate agent know. Ask if they can get meals from another aircraft with a later departure. Make PA, “waiting on additional service items” and not “waiting on first class meals.”

What is the most challenging situation in the aircraft you have ever experienced?

You have been accused of being seen at the bar before the flight by a passenger in the terminal. How do you handle it?
-get a customer service representative involved
-Find a private place to talk with the concerned customer
-listen, empathise and covey that this simply was not the case
-if we need to get law enforcement involved no problem

What would my chief pilot say I need to improve on?
My Chief pilot would most likely have to look me up to see who I was, but if he did, he would see a good training record with no repeats/failulars. He would see a reliable pilot who shows up on time and doesn’t abuse sick leave. but everyone has some things they want to improve on personally and for me I would say more community involvement

Windy day, SkyWest taxing out and our before takeoff checklist had our N1 Values way off. Captian was in a big rush and said it would be fine and continued, felt pressured to go, took the runway and I spoke up saying I was uncomfortable, exited, got new numbers, found our mistake and continued
WHAT DID YOU LEARN
What did you learn from you checkride fail?
-Take full responsibility
-How to handle failure
-processed these emotions
-Gave me motivation to retrain
-Passed the second time around no problem
-No 121 fails
Became a CFI with 100% pass rate and used what I learned to help better prepare my students.
FA tells you that an Elderly passenger sees her dog on the ramp not being loaded and its cold and raining… What do you do
- Thank the FA and Get the FO involved with preflight items to continue the operation
- Communicate with the pax and empathise and gather information
- Go on the ramp and talk with the rampers to see if you can help
- Get a customer service rep involved if need be

Captian and myself were extended an extra two day to do LAX-INC
Captains wife was recovering from some type of surgery related to cancer
Sympathized with Captian, made sure he was fit to fly, made sure the safety of the flight was not at risk. Made him a cup of aero press coffee and tried my best to cheer him up. Had a good flight talked with him for hours.
Reaction: stay positive, help each other out, stay flexible, ensure that safety or CRM is not compromised
