Full time worker do?
- full time - traditional 9-5pm, 5 days a week
- condition: paid leave, sick leave, super-annuation
e. g lawyer, judge
What do part time workers do?
- Part time - work less than 35 hours a week,
- condition: sick leave and annual leaves
e. g teaching, daycare
What do seasonal workers do?
- seasonal - work lasts about 3 months, Condition: entitle to sick leave if they work 30 hours in the week or more
e. g life guard, fruit picker
What do casual workers do
- casual - short term, irregular shifts, minimum of 3 hours
Conditions: don’t get paid for holidays but get extra pay instead,
E.g check out operator

What’s a shift worker?
- any work that falls outside the hours of 7am and 6pm

What’s an apprentice and trainee?
- in formal training arrangement that combine work with study for a qualification
