Why do people go to Lourdes on pilgrimage?

Lourdes is a famous pilgrimage site in France where the waters are believed to have healing powers. In 1858, Bernadette Soubirous, a young local girl, was said to have seen the Virgin Mary at Lourdes and her friend was said to have been healed in the waters.”
What is a covenant?
In Judaism, the covenant is a promise that God made with Abraham. According to the covenant, God would offer protection and land to Abraham and his descendants, but they must follow the path of God.
What is meant by the term kosher?
In Judaism, food that is allowed is called kosher. Food that is not allowed is called trefah. (1. Land animals must have cloven (split) hooves and must chew the cud, meaning that they must eat grass. 2. Seafood must have fins and scales. Eating shellfish is not allowed. 3. It is forbidden to eat birds of prey. Only clean birds, meaning birds that do not eat other animals, can be eaten. Poultry is allowed. 4. Meat and dairy cannot be eaten together,)
Give two examples of prejudice the Jews faced during World War II
The Nazis made laws designed to remove Jews from the country’s political, economic, and cultural life. Antisemites argued that the Jews has a conscious plan for world domination. In Nazi ideology that perceived Jewishness to be biological, the elimination of the Jews was essential to the purification and even the salvation of the German people.
