What is a non-contact force?
A force that makes no contact .

Magnetic force

Give an example of a contact force ?
Moving a couch across a floor
Pushing a car up a hill
Kicking a ball
Pushing a desk across a room
How do you measure forces ?
Using a force meter , also called a newton meter.
Where is the nerve cell found ?
It is found all over the body .
What is the nerve cells job?
It’s job is to carry electrical signals to our brain.
What are the nerve cells adaptations ?
Long connections at both ends .
Where is the ciliated epithelium found?
It is found in our throat/airways.
What is the ciliated epithelium job ?
Sweeps dirt and mucus back up the throat.
What are the adaptations of the ciliated epithelium ?
Cilia is the tiny hairs that is on the epithelium.
Where is the sperm cell found ?
In the testes .
What is the sperm cells job ?
Its job is to carry genetic information and fertilise the egg.
What are the sperm cells adaptations ?
A tail to move them towards an egg cell.
