Axillary nerve
Presentation of Axillary nerve neuropathy

Mid-shaft fracture of humerus affects
Radial nerve
Presentation of Radial nerve neuropathy
Posterior forearm + Posterior lateral side of hand
Radial nerve damage will cause
Wrist drop Difficulty extending wrist joint
Subcondylar fracture will affect
Ulnar nerve
Presentation of Ulnar neuropathy
- Medial side of hand (palm and dorsal)
- Pinky + 1/2 of ring
Ulnar nerve damage will cause
- Claw hand
- Hypothenar wasting
- Difficulty adducting/abducting fingers
- Difficulty adducting thumb
Posterior dislocation of the hip will damage
Sciatic nerve
Sciatic nerve neuropathy will present with
- Loss of sensation in posterior thigh
- All skin inferior to knee (except calf)
Sciatic nerve damage will cause
Trouble with
- Hip extension
- Flexion of knee
- All foot and ankle movements
Fracture of the fibula will affect
Common peroneal (fibular) nerve
Common peroneal nerve neuropathy will present with
- Sensory loss of the dorsum of the foot
- Sensory loss between big toe and 2nd toe (deep peroneal nerve)
