What is Bronchiolitis?
A
Inflammation and swelling of the bronchioles

What is pneumonia? Why is it different from bronchitis and bronchiolitis?
A
Inflammation and swelling of the alveoli. Severe respiratory bacterial infection can cause bronchitis and bronchiolitis but will eventually lead to pneumonia. Alveoli fill with fluid which impacts gas exchange.
