What happens in the rape of Persephone?

A

Summary:
Persephone gets stolen by Hades.
Demeter finds out it was Hades that took her daughter from Hecate, who heard, and Helios, who saw.
Demeter gets mad that Zeus let it happen.
She goes to live with mortals.
All the crops fail.
Zeus says sorry, and says that Hades should give her back.
Hades does, but first he tempted her to eat 6 seeds of pomegranate.
Now Persephone must stay there for 6/12 months a year.
Demeter calms down.

Cacus?
Hercules was returning with Geryon's cattle. Passed a village. Said village had a fire-breathing giant called Cacus, who was also the son of Vulcan. Cacus ate people. He stole some cows from Hercules by pulling them backwards to his cave. Heracles heard where they were by the reply to a moo from one of his cattle. Cacus blocked the cave with a huge stone. He took the top off the mountain to get to Cacus. Cacus breathed fire at him. Hercules jumped in the cave and squeezed Cacus' throat so tightly his eyes popped
