The principle by which the interpretation of a verse or passage in Scripture containing numbers is aided by a recognition of the symbolic significance of the numbers involved.

The principle by which the interpretation of the verse or passage of Scripture containing typical elements can be determined only through a proper interpretation of the type of types involved.

That principle by which any parable is interpreted by discerning its moral and interpreting its elements.
Question: Which principle is this? “A short simple story from which a moral lesson may be drawn.” It is an earthly story with a heavenly meaning. The relevant terms in Scripture will now be considered.
The Parabolic Principle
Question: What is the science and art of interpretation, or of finding the meaning of an author’s words and phrases, and of explaining it to others; exegesis; particularly applied to the interpretation of the Scriptures?
Hermeneutics
Question: What is an allegorical symbolic representation of some object, which is called the antitype; a symbol; a sign; theologically, the word is mainly applied to those prophetic prefiguring’s of the persons and thins of the new dispensation, which occur in the Old Testament.
