1. State and explain three ways that the Physical Geography of the Ancient Middle East impacted its societies. 2. State and explain one social class of Ancient Egypt that was similar to one social class of the modern-day U.S.A.. Be sure to have a sentence that explains the similarity of the two social classes. 3. State and explain whether life was easier or more difficult for the average person living in Ancient Egypt than for the average person living in the modern-day U.S.A.
The Nile River and the Mediterranean Sea helped create trading routes for the societies surrounding it. Mountains helped create natural barriers between the societies. The rivers helped the societies have lots of water sources to plant. The working class is most similar to the Artisans class because Artisans would work many skilled jobs, but would be directed as middle class, and the working class of teachers, government workers, and skilled tradespeople would be directed toward middle-income people too. C: It is easier to live in the modern-day USA than in Ancient Egypt. E: According to Ancient Middle East 3B, the government officials class was often members of the pharaoh's family or other upper-class families. Most of them got their positions because of their family members. R: This evidence shows that Ancient Egyptians couldn’t move up a social class from the one they were born in. There are more opportunities for modern-day people to create new things and make a difference if they move up a social class and get more connections with people. I: Perhaps, a lot of the new technology in the modern-day happened because when people move up a class, they can get new resources, which can help them create technology, but Ancient Egyptians couldn’t move up a class, so they never got new ideas to create technology.
