mechanism of action

A
  • inhibit mediator release from mast cells, increase mucus clearance, increase diaphragmatic contractility and reduce fatigue
  • non selective phosphodiesterase inhibitor - prevent inactivation of cAMP and cGMP by phosphodiesterase
