A

Anatomical region of the X-Ray
- the side if relevant
Mention the views shown - ask for a second if only provided with one
Name and age of patient
Date X-Ray was taken
Describe most obvious abnormality
- assess Alignment and view, Bones and Cartilage

A

Gas in the soft tissue - indicates open fracture
Foreign bodies
- glass, metal and grit
Fluid in joint - suggests a fracture
Fat pad sign in the elbow - indicates blood in the joint
