a friendly understanding or informal alliance between states or factions.

an official order or commission to do something.
Mobilize
Mobilization is the act of assembling and making both troops and supplies ready for war.
Militarism
a country should maintain a strong military and be prepared.
Neutrality
the state of not supporting or helping either side in a conflict, disagreement
No-man’s land
land that is unoccupied or is under dispute between parties that leave it unoccupied due to fear or uncertainty.

information, ideas, or rumors deliberately spread widely to help or harm a person, group, movement, institution, nation
Reparations
compensation in money, material, labor, payable by a defeated country to another country or to an individual for loss suffered during or as a result of war.

determination by oneself or itself, without outside influence.
Stalemate
the process by which a country determines its own statehood and forms its own allegiances and government.
Total war
a war that is unrestricted in terms of the weapons used, the territory or combatants involved, or the objectives pursued, especially one in which the laws of war are disregarded.
